Background
Elementary education is the foundation for developing children’s cognitive, social-emotional, moral, and character competencies. Global educational transformation necessitates adapting the curriculum, implementing research-based learning methods, enhancing teacher competencies, and effectively utilizing educational technology.
These changes cannot be addressed partially by a single institution. Collaboration between universities is necessary to enable research, innovation, and reform of elementary education practices, thereby developing and having a broader impact. Through international conference collaborations, universities can expand academic networks, increase recognition, and provide benefits for the development of education.
Based on that spirit, the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta (UPY), invites partner universities to join as Co-Hosts in the implementation of the International Conference on Primary Education (ICOPE) 2026. This international scientific forum focuses on the development of primary education based on research, innovation, and collaboration
